A place full of History

Built in the 17th century, the cloister of the Capuchin convent became a hat shop in the 19th century as part of the industrial project of J. Maraval in the Madeleine district.

An ambitious renovation

Since the 1990s, several owners have succeeded each other and initiated a renovation program for this building located in the former working-class neighbourhood of Albi.

Summer concerts

For two years, the association L’Atelier des Arts du Noble Val has been organising summer concerts in the cloister with the project of making it “a place of musical excellence”.

The cloister has completed its work on the facade it shares with the church square

(…) It took nearly ten months to complete this project, from the chipping away at the foundation of the staircase at the end of February to the final installation of the new railing at the beginning of December.
